Mom2Mom Chat Help

So you want to use the chat room, but not quite sure what everything does.  Hopefully this will help a bit. Lets start off with the first thing you see.  (please forgive the lack of e at the end of change)

The first thing going from your left is Change your status.   If you left click that small arrow, you will be able to change your status (by once again left click when the menu comes up).  Your options are Here,  Away,  Busy and BRB (be right back)

The next thing is Change your settings,  see below for more info

The small box next to Options is to change your font colour to what ever you desire, remember some colours may be hard to see on some backgrounds, so choose wisely :)

IF you left click the arrow next to smilies it will bring up a list of Some very nice smilies to use in your chatting pleasures

The bold and Italic buttons are just that, to make your text bold and/or italic

The chatters list allows you to Ignore, send a private message, send files and a couple other features as showed  below. to get the list, left click the desired user's name.

If you left click on the options button it will bring up this box

You can can Change the colours of different parts of the chat room individualy or use a pre-made theme (I personally like indigo metallic):

left click the one you want and

Now when you play with backgrounds occasionally some text will blend in too much.  If you left click on the text tab there will be a box you check to force all text to be the same colour as you choose.:  It is here ypu can also change your font, and text size.

Now one of my favourite things is the fact you can configure your sound so easy:

Just left click the box of the feature you want on or off (check mark means that that sound feature is active). As you can see you can also just mute all and adjust the sound.  If you left click on the speaker icons, you can hear what sound will play.

While you chatting you may see people waving and doing actions and wonder how its done.  to Accomplish this, where you would normally type, start the line as /me and then follow with the action:

for the example below I typed:

/me waves

and

/me is smiling :D

Another command that might come in handy is:

/clear     this will clear all previous text from the chat screen
