Since my hours vary, it is a challenge to find a balance between, "me" time, hubby time, family time, one-on-one with my dd time and time for friends and other family. Sadly, my social life is sacrificed first but my closest and dearest friends will always remain close to me no matter how much time I can physically spend with them
I could of written that as well!
Im Jenn, and i work anywhere from 32-48 hrs a week at a motel doing front desk. Since we never close, and are short staffed, my shifts vary from week to week, so it makes planning anything very hard. I miss my girls, as i dont drive, so when i work a back to back shift, i often spend the night at my work as to avoid having to commute by bus or taxi in the am to work. ($$$) I would love to stay home, but as of now, we need both of our incomes, so it has to be what it is.
