do you keep track of how many hours of overtime you put in per year? I am at 350 so far!

If I had to estimate, I'd say probably about 1000 during the school year plus all the extras over the summer.

You know it might even be more. I usually do about 5 hours of work outside of school hours per day and usually 7 days a week. There are about 37 weeks x 35 hours/week, so that would be 1295. You also have to figure that I'm busier during report card time. And, like I said, that's not counting work over the summer. I will work periodically getting things planned and then spend the full two weeks before school starts at school setting up my room. I may not be the norm necessarily though because I am just starting out. It really is by choice but it usually feels like it's mandatory (in my head at least).

I've put in about 200 hours of overtime since I started working full time in September. My husband works 60+ hours every single week, so well over 1200 for the year.

I dont want to count....

Bigger question should be - do you get PAID for your overtime. Because I do not. Salaried pay is based on 75 hours every 2 weeks (37.5 per week)...and I work a LOT more than that!
