I'm no bird expert, so I don't want to venture a guess.

As far as I can tell, It's a male Slate coloured "Dark-Eyed Junco".

Their a type of bird often seen in a snow storm. I think their pretty cute :)

I use to get flocks of them on my back porch last winter at our old place.. In the middle of a blowing snow storm, they didnt care. They would be there eating away all the seed i had put out.

well I watched the Cat in the Hat the other day so I am now an authority because I learned it is a bird because I see feathers in the pictures and all birds have feathers. Oh and I watched Dinosour train and learned it is also a dinosour because all birds are are decendants of dinosours

So the answer is...it is a dinosour

I have a website that I use a LOT...

HERE

I think a "type" of chickadee.....but i think it could be a sparrow too...I was shocked at how many types there are. Or maybe it's warbler?

Guess I should take a course.

http://animal.discov...eyed-junco.html

This website shows the Junco, and it looks exactly like ur picture.

"This medium-sized sparrow can vary in color, but is generally slate gray with a white belly and, of course, dark eyes. White along the sides of the tail can be seen when the bird is in flight. Some birds have buff flanks."
