IS it wrong to miss presents for things ? I miss getting xmas presents(other than underwear) and I miss romantic presents like valentines. I wish we had money for anniversary presents and more extravegant birthday presents. IS it wrong to wish and want presents ? I miss it. Maybe this should of been a vent. But I am not mad just wish we could afford these extras right now but we can't. :)

Hugs! I can remember many a valentines or birthday or christmas going by without exchanging with dh. BUT i think the most special valentines and special holidays to me, were the one where we just spent time together and didn't have any extras.

We don't buy gifts for any of those occasions even Christmas... we don't really care about that.. we go out to dinner... we enjoy that... and it's a big treat... buying chocolates or expensive jewelery is not our thing....

Hope your having a better day Shannon....

I get it. I got a dvd and a new camera battery for my Valentine Birthday and was a little jealous that EVERYONE around me got really sentimental, sweet gifts from their better half. I'm not a gifty person and hate flowers, but it might be nice just once to get something other than a household appliance :)
