So THIS one actually worked for me. Apparently, you have to convert your age to the lunar age, then go by that.

Did it work for you?

So this year, I have to get prego NOW, May, June, July, Sept, Oct or Nov.

I'm half tempted to go give it a whirl right now....

It was wrong for Bunny, but right for Benny.

I have a ton of "girl" months coming up this year according to that chart.

it was right for Grace. Apparently if I want a boy I need to get pregnant in the next year or so where I have a 50/50 chance. in 2013 when our next planned conception is, I have only 1 month where I could have a boy. So if this chart is correct it looks like 2 girls it is.

It's only right for one of my kids.

And I should add that, according to the chart, I would have had 3 girls!

HUH? I dont get it.

In 2011,
You are 31 years old in the 11th lunar month (Jan. 1 ~ Jan. 3)
You are 31 years old in the 12th lunar month (Jan. 4 ~ Feb. 2)
You are 32 years old in the 1st lunar month (Feb. 3 ~ Mar. 4)
You are 32 years old in the 2nd lunar month (Mar. 5 ~ Apr. 2)
You are 32 years old in the 3rd lunar month (Apr. 3 ~ May. 2)
You are 32 years old in the 4th lunar month (May. 3 ~ Jun. 1)
You are 32 years old in the 5th lunar month (Jun. 2 ~ Jun. 30)
You are 32 years old in the 6th lunar month (Jul. 1 ~ Jul. 30)
You are 32 years old in the 7th lunar month (Jul. 31 ~ Aug. 28)
You are 32 years old in the 8th lunar month (Aug. 29 ~ Sep. 26)
You are 32 years old in the 9th lunar month (Sep. 27 ~ Oct. 26)
You are 32 years old in the 10th lunar month (Oct. 27 ~ Nov. 24)
You are 32 years old in the 11th lunar month (Nov. 25 ~ Dec. 24)
You are 32 years old in the 12th lunar month (Dec. 25 ~ Dec. 31)

For both 31 and 32...1st, 3rd and 12th are blue... the rest are pink... what does that mean?

That means that if you get pregnant in Jan, March or December, you'll have a boy. The rest of the time, it would be a girl.

I read somewhere that if it works for you, it's likely to always work. If it doesn't, it likely won't. Who knows. LOL! I'm grasping at straws here. BUT I do plan on having a summer baby, so that means fall to conceive, and the chart says girl for those months....

OMG! It worked for both DS and DD. This explains why DS was the only boy in our moms and tots group and why DD was the only girl born in my prenatal aquacize class.

When DS was born there were only 3 months out of 12 months when boys would be conceived. This also explains why there are so many more girls in his class at school every year. WOW!!!

***I guess that most of the moms in the above situations must be around the same lunar age.

Don't trust something like this. It's strictly for entertainment. The odds of it being right are 50/50, so for one child, it will be right for around 1/2 the people. For two children, it will be right for about 1/4 of the people. And for three, about 1/8 of the people.

Seeing as genetically the sex is determined by dad, I can't see how these things could really be more than entertainment. It can still be fun though, and this one is proving to be pretty accurate!

I think the ultimate test of it would be to try all seven of yours Tim.. that would take some research. hehe

I think the real question is: would sex on the Gravitron yeild the same results as the spinning to separate the chromosomes, but much cheaper? :p lol

The chart results were right for both mine, lunar and non-lunar. I'm confused on why the lunar age at conception for Belle was exactly the same as my actual age, yet the lunar age for conception for Michael had me as two years older? How does that work? (I've only ever suscribed to the normal calendar, I'm not familiar with how the lunar calendar works at all.)

Editted for word use...

Jill, yes, the X or Y is given by the male, however there are factors within the woman's body that determine which sperm makes it to the egg. And acidic environment (PH) is good for X sperm and an alkaline ph is good for Y sperm. Also, timing plays a factor as well. It's not ALL on the sperm though.

Obviously, I won't be holding it all out for the phases of the moon! lol But it can't hurt!

Yes, I know, and I know that there are certains points in a woman's cycle were the environment is more or less acidic, etc. I just have a hard time linking that to any sort of "lunar phase".

You could always try holding out for the lunar phases.. couldn't hurt, right? hehe
