Did you buy your books new or used? I'm pretty proud of myself because I managed to find $1098.35 worth of books for $286.68 shopping on Kijiji and Indigo online. I can't imagine why someone would buy new when they can save so much on used books that show next to no wear. YaY for saving $$$$$$$$ :)

I bought new because i didnt have to pay for it :thumbsup But, if it was on my dime, i would go used. Some of our books you had to buy new regardless because they came with computer software or access codes the used text books didnt have. To top it off, those books were the most expensive =( My books cost nearly 1000 as well, and that was just for 1 semester alone. I am just grateful i got funding through second career.

I got lucky because I found used books with the computer software sill wrapped and unused :) I'm not getting funding, so this was one area I worked really hard at to save.

I always bought used or online when I could! Some books I skipped all together because I knew I wouldn't need them.
