I volunteer at my kids school quite a bit. I'm on the parent council, the teachers know that I'm a SAHM and since I'm fluent in French (obviously it's a French school) I'm asked often to help out.

I'm a scouts leader for the French group. Again because I don't work out of the home and all the other leaders do, I tend to pick up as many duties possible to help them out.

Of course, I enjoy helping all my friends with anything they need, anytime. :)

I'm on the fen board now (family enrichment network) it is what they call our oeyc's out here. There is a meeting once a month and there are always things going on with it.

Today there was a gardening workshop - our town is moving towards community gardens instead of flowers open for the public so I will be doing some to help with that as well. It will be a bit harder with a newborn though.
