If you work from home how do you manage to stay focused on your work during work hours and not spend your personal time working? Do you have a problem with people thinking your are free to chat on the phone or having people drop by to visit because they know you are home?

Working from home does take a lot of discipline. I've been with my company for 15yrs and have always been set up with a home office. I do a lot of traveling though so work from our offices in Toronto, Michigan etc on those days.  It took me a couple years to get into a routine on the days I worked from home. No issues with friends dropping by etc as they all work too so that wasn't a worry.

honestly I get way more done working from home than ie when at our head office. Plus I can multi task! Huge bonus when you can throw laundry in and start dinner!

I love working from home.  I can get started early, stay in my comfy clothes and can multi task.  Laundry, dinner, etc get done!
