I had a fight happen in front of my house tonight and they wouldnt leave so I called 911 and it took them 15 to 20 minutes to get here and by that time the kids had left then he drove by and didnt even stop to ask where they went I know its just a "teenage fight" but what happened to zero tolerance of bullying or even assault like I said just a rant

Sorry to hear that. I have to say the police where I live are awesome - I called them once on the non emergency line and they arrived while I was still on the phone.

When we were robbed we waited over 2 hours for someone to come.

a few weeks back my son was beaten up at the park. A boy stomped on his face and bloodied his nose. Took ther police 5 hrs to get to my house and told me that because my son tried to fight back it was a "consentual fight" and nothing they coud do

Unless you are a high priority, you can always expect some sort of wait time, especially on the weekends, over holidays and during bad weather when the calls outnumber the available bodies. It sucks when your the one waiting, but you have to try remember that it's highly possible someone out there called for help in a much more dire situation than yours.

neither had I.  I always thought that was called self defence.
