Will you take your kids out if it's raining or are you making other plans?

Yep! If it's too bad I will probably just stay home with the baby and DH can take C out.

I decided to go out with Nico just to 6 houses or so right around us. It was enough for him and his little trick-or-treat bag was full. My husband stayed with the baby and now Nico is thrilled to be handing out the treats.

We had a good turnout in spite of the weather but still only about half of what we usually get. We around 200 kids this year. I took my grand kids out, it didn't seem like there were as many houses giving out candy this year.

Only half of our neighbourhood was giving out this year, last year the whole neighbourhood was. It was disappointing for Grace to go to a few houses that had cars/lights on only for them to not answer the door. One lady answered and said they don't hand out candy. Then keep your light off or hang a sign or something. I felt bad for her

I handed out candy while dd went out with an army of costumed cruisaders that included my sister, brother, his girlfriend, my mum and the two dogs ( yes the dogs were in costume)..lol...they were gone well over an hour and had a blast, even in the wind and rain. dd didn't get to wear her costume because it was just to wet, but was happy with Nanas last minute change up. A lot of rain coats and umbrellas, but everyone who came to the door seemed to be having fun :)
