Are you ready for the new year? I spent 8 exhausting hours putting away the Xmas stuff, cleaning and organizing the house and getting dd's room mire organized. My back is killing me, but it's worth it to start the new year off in good shape. I'm de-lighting outside tomorrow and finishing the laundry.

I'm looking forward to the new year. This past year has been tough and some positives are very welcome.

Are you feeling good about the new year?

2013 was a really bad year for me and my family. Between my husband leaving us at Christmas unexpectedly to my dad passing away suddenly 4 months later, I am so ready for a new year!Anything must be better than that right?

I don't think that just because the calendar changes my life will. LOL.

2013 was a year. It had ups and downs but, nothing spectacular either way. I will be starting the new year with a job interview on Friday though. Either I'll have a new job for the new year of I won't. Either way I will not take it as a sign as to how the 362 days after that will go.

I'm going to be making a big career decision in 2014. I just don't love my job the way I thought I would. So it's either going back to the drawing board or going back only half time after my maternity leave. Decisions, decisions ...
