What do you do New Year's Eve? Do you go out for a night on the town or just stay home and have family time?

For the past couple of years we have gone with my daughter and grandson to the New Year's Eve party at Lansbury park, it's a nice family friendly event.

We will be in Sarnia this year. Taking the older kids (4&9) to see frozen then both families to the mall for the family friendly kids celebration with early ball drop. After that order pizza and rent a movie.

Home celebration with the kidlet. We go get decorations and noise makers at the party store and have a snack table :) This year will be mellow because my s/o and I are going to the Winter Classic.

BF and I are home, by ourselves this year. He will likely be up at 5am and then in bed by 8pm lol.

My mom has a party every year. We'll be going again this year. Did you mean Lanspeary Park? The one off of Ottawa and Langlois? If so what time is that? What do they have there?

It's put on by AM 800, they have ice skating, live music, giveaways and fireworks. It runs from 6-9 Here is the info1525318_10151797858425872_1221151232_n.j

Since my son was born we've hosted our families, but year after year I haven't always gotten the best turn out. This year with the new baby I said I didn't want to do it and just go to bed at 9 (sounds a little bah humbug but that's a little how a feel with a baby who barely naps and is up and and off all night for the past month or so). But my mom insisted, so I'm hosting my parents and one aunt and uncle. My neighbor might show up. I'm not even cleaning my house!
