Do you trust the Canadian Weather Service or do you tune to the Detroit stations when there is threatening weather? Lately I have noticed that some of the warnings aren't posted until after the storm has passed. Last night they cancelled a warning and then posted another one 4 minutes later. Do you feel the info they provide is accurate and timely even though the info comes from another city?

I follow Doppler 7 Detroit. We always used it for boating since it's apparently the same one used by the local US coastguard and typically most accurate. I find Environment Canada very slow with its weather warnings and all too often wrong with forecasting. Obviously weather is hard to predict and never 100% accurate, but the American systems seem to get close enough most of the time.
