Anyone do Weight Watchers online? I was thinking about trying it, rather than going to the meetings, just cuz I don't really have the extra time to be out another night a week, but I don't know if it'd be as good since you're not actually seeing people every week who kinda help keep you accountable. SO just wondering if anyone's tried it?

I never did WW online but did Ediets and really, really liked it. There's tons of online meetings, support groups and lots of menu choices. Plus when I did it after you are in for 30 days you can sign up to be a mentor and get your own membership for free for as long as you are mentoring someone else. Made it really economical.

I'm doing it right now. Just started last week. I've lost 5 lbs so far. I like it, because I too don't have time for a nightly meeting. Lots of information. I like the "plan manager" feature. Easy to record what you've eaten etc. Worth trying. You can always cancel if you don't think it's working.

Never heard of that one Marla, I'll look into it.
I liked that you can track everything online too, of course then it's gonna be a matter of how much time I can get on here. -------------------- |

Yeah I need to lose at least 50lbs, I figure now that I'm done having kids and don't have to worry about gaining when I'm pregnant I better get to it! Plus I'm thinking about a breast reduction when I'm done nursing but I know a woman who was going to get one then she lost a ton of weight and her boobs went with it, so I'm hoping that's what'll happen to me too!

Rjan67 how are you doing so far? I'm down 7lbs now, I thought for sure I would have gained with Thanksgiving! I made it down to my mini goal of fitting into a new pair of jeans that I bought a size too small, they almost fit when I bought them but I couldn't quite get them done up, now they fit perfect! Dh didn't think I would actually lose any weight then I came out with the jeans on and he said whatever you're doing you're gonna have to sign me up too! Lol, he could stand to lose some weight too and he's always sabotaging my efforts by bringing junk food and pop in the house! I have no willpower so I stopped buying anything junky cuz if it's here I will eat it!

It's like $69 for 3 mo or something around there to do the online one. I think I gained all my weight back over this weekend though, that's what I get for going away with 3 kids, we ate supper both last night and tonight at the Wendy's rest stops on the 401, and we got it to go so you know I didn't get a salad to eat while driving down the highway! Plus tomorrow with Weston's B-day I'll be eating cake, but I'll get back on track on Monday and hopefully drop again!!

Lol, well the thing with this is that it's the best program for maintenance, it's more about teaching a lifestyle then just loosing the weight, whereas if I had to eat Special K all the time I'd just end up overeating once I lost the weight and gain it all back.

Well I am doing ok I guess. Kinda went off track on the Thanksgiving weekend. Feeling a little stressed right now, so that's when it's the worst. Didn't have time to go to the Y today to work out. The days fly by so fast! I need 30 hours for each 24 hour day! Hope you too are doing better than me!

Hey, I hit 10lbs yesterday! Slow but sure. I guess you have to keep it all in perspective. I know we would all like to be skinny minnie's by Christmas but I figure if I keep this up for a year I will be about 50lbs lighter by next year which would be awesome! I need to lose because of my blood pressure and cholesterol. I'm off to the Dr.'s today for my check up.I was suppose to have my cholesterol checked in the summer but lost my slip....somewhere.... I'm sure I'll get some grief about that today. Anyway...not looking forward to Halloween candy around the house because I'm a chocoholic! Keep up the good work girls!
