Children with special needs may be offered an additional visit in the home to provide the family with suggestions of activities to try, in that setting, to enhance their child’s development. A team consisting of Early Childhood Educators, a physio/occupational therapist will provide in-home support to enhance the growth and development of infants and young children with special needs between the ages of four months to five years of age.

Our prenatal classes also include a Monday evening Breastfeeding Class and five post-natal classes.


POST-NATAL CLASSES cover a variety of topics including: adjustment to parenthood, staying fit, coping with fatigue and isolation, going back to work, daycare, weaning, child development and more. As well, these classes provide an opportunity to meet other mothers and babies, to share experiences and provide support for the new mother. Everyone is welcome whether you will be delivering at TEGH or not.
