Karen Lamont makes her home in the Bloor West Village area of west Toronto with her husband and two young daughters. After graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University, Karen pursued a career in marketing and found great success in the corporate world for more than a decade.

Returning to her career after the births of her children, Karen found, as with many families these days, finding the work-family balance more and more challenging to manage. Ready for a change, and after careful consideration, Karen decided to leave her corporate position and start her own business.
